Sensory water table

A water play table designed to awaken children's senses.

Made entirely of red Corian, the sensory water table was designed and built by Nokinomo and Espace d'eau for IME La Chalouère, a special education centre.

The water features run continuously, offering children a visual and sound spectacle even without any handling.

Six small acrylic tubes on the tabletop activate the features. In five of them, water constantly overflows like a little fountain; the sixth blows air. When a child places a cap or a flat hand on a tube, a jet of water is triggered, the vortex fills and overflows, and bubbles stir in the water column.
