The sword room

A virtual showcase for viewing five royal swords in the finest detail.

Nokinomo designed the installation for the sword room. From an interface of five screens, visitors choose the sword they want to look at. A rear projection more than 2.5 metres long then presents it in very high definition, revealing remarkably fine details. Navigation is simple, playful and entirely intuitive.

The fort's scenography, designed by La Méduse, presents the country's culture and history across five rooms: royal portraits and an illuminated, interactive family tree, a virtual tour of the fort, the treaty room, a virtual showcase of royal swords, the jewellery room, equestrian art and a light sculpture, and finally an optical theatre in the falcon room.
