The Musée des Confluences is hosting the Hugo Pratt, Lignes d’Horizons exhibition, based on the work of the creator of the Corto Maltese comics. Visitors are immersed in a black and white world created by graphic artist Tiphaine Massari and scenographer Gilles Mugnier, as they wander from one giant comic strip block to another.
The exhibition is organized around six geographical zones explored in the works of Hugo Pratt, from the Far North to the Great Ocean.
At the heart of the exhibition is a table of 3 meters diameter topped with a video projected interactive map.The table allows visitors to retrace Pratt's different voyages to the four corners of the world, and the characters he inspired to pop into view.
Hugo Pratt, Lignes d’Horizons opened on 7 April 2018 and continues until 24 March 2019.
